Blackberry Cobbler

1/2 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
dash of salt

Preheat oven to 375.
Melt butter in 9 x 13 casserole dish.
Mix remaining ingredients, add to melted butter in casserole and stir.
Add 1-1 1/2 pint of any berries (I use black) and stir in.
Bake at 375 for 40 min.

Great with ice cream or cool whip on top! (I actually prefer it plain...)
Can be doubled in same size pan, just turns out deeper.

Brenda gave me this recipe and I made it a couple of weeks back. My kids saw yours and said, "Is that the same stuff you made? Hers looks way better." It tasted wonderful. Thank you so much.

When Eli told me that you sent blackberry cobbler I was so upset that I was out of town but he quickly informed me that they saved me a piece. I'll be having that for breakfast tomorrow!!! Can't wait (I'm a little full from Moser's yummy dinner or I wouldn't wait)

Hey - I put in a post on the tonight4dinner.blogspot.com

Tell Brandon the cobbler was delicious! We loved the fresh berries. We happend to have vanilla ice-cream so that tasted so good with the hot cobbler. Thanks again! Very yummy.
